Coach Matt Cline’s Story:
In this episode, you’ll hear from Matt Cline. Matt is currently the Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Cleveland State University. That Head Coach: Coach Dennis Gates. Coach Gates is coming off a NCAA season appearance and is considered one of the finest Mid Major coaches in America. Right from the start of this podcast, Coach Cline mentions how Urban Meyer talks about how “love” is spelled T-I-M-E. And, time is what Matt gives to young coaches today. Coach Cline discusses a variety of topics and advice to help young coaches. In this podcast, you will learn that many successful coaches have mentored and paved the way for Coach Cline. Coaches like Ronnie Arrow, Leonard Hamilton, Steve DeMeo, Steve Forbes, Rob Murphy, Chris Oliver, Joe Gallo, and Luke Yaklich have all played a role in Coach Cline’s professional journey. Matt’s daily philosophy is a credit to his parents and three brothers: 1. Work Hard 2. Treat People the Right Way. 3. Do the Right Thing. Also, you are going to be constantly asking yourself: Is there a better way? This growth mindset that Matt possesses surely comes across in the next 60 minutes  Finally, Matt’s work with the organization, Grow the Game, is all about giving back.
