Coach Ernie Zeigler’s Story: 
In this episode, you’ll hear from Ernie Zeigler. Ernie is currently an assistant coach for Ben Howland at Mississippi State University. As a matter of fact, Coach “Zeig” as so many people know Ernie in Detroit, Michigan, and across the nation, has worked for Coach Howland for 12 seasons. Ernie has assisted Coach Howland at Pittsburgh, UCLA, and Mississippi State. In addition, Ernie has been a Head Coach in China, Saudi Arabia, and at Central Michigan. Right away, Ernie talks about the importance of being loyal to your head coach. He gives one of the most powerful tips that has been shared on this podcast: “My #1 job is to make sure that my Head Coach does not get fired.” Coach Zeigler holds nothing back when it comes to his views and values of assistant coaches being loyal. Coach Zeigler describes his coaching philosophy as being a Genuine Person. As you will hear in this terrific 30-minute conversation, there is nothing NOT genuine about Ernie.
